Lake Valley Senior Citizen Ctr.
Chinle Valley Schools
Tohajiilee Behavioral Health Ctr.

Public Facilities Projects:  PFP provides up to $300,000 of construction funds to be utilized by chapters and their constituents believe is best for their community priority projects.  Funding expires after three years if it is not allocated to projects or estimates that are actively moving forward.  Generally, all projects are resolutely construction projects.

The process of developing a potential project list begins with our Policy and Procedure method.  The projects are submitted to Navajo AML, after an initial review by the in-house technical staff a detailed description with cost estimates, identifying the funding sources, Environmental clearances etc., is prepared for each potential project chosen for further consideration for a selection process.  After this information has been quantified, all projects are carefully reviewed and prioritized by the Project Review Committee, consisting of engineers, archaeologists, architects, environmentalists, and/or construction managers, to determine construction readiness and final selection of projects to be awarded funds.
